I want to truly, truly hate Warren Jeffs, the FLDS' fallen prophet, yet I'm utterly in awe of his audacity, hubris, and total sense of entitlement.

I hesitated for a while in formulating an opinion about old Warren only because I'm very concerned about the government overstepping its bounds. In the end though, I'm pretty much in agreement with the way you said it. Here's my latest on him.
